These easy Egg Hunt Mini Egg Cupcakes are a fun and festive Easter treat that looks just like an Easter egg hunt in cupcake form!

12 cupcakes
¼ cup flower shaped candy cupcake sprinkles
2 cups frosting (vanilla/white)
½ teaspoon green food coloring (approximately)
1 cup chocolate mini eggs

Instructions

Bake cupcakes, as per recipe you are using. *Only fill the cupcake liners to ⅔ full.
Cool on wire rack.
Mix frosting and green food coloring together in a medium bowl. Add more green food coloring until you reach the desired color.
Make signs (you can do this in advance) or you can purchase them.
Put coupler inside piping bag and trim off end.
Add grass tip to piping bag
Add coupler ring to seal tip on piping bag
Fill the piping bag ⅔ full with frosting
Twist the top of the piping bag
Pipe grass on cupcakes.
Keep piping until top of cupcake is covered with grass.
Add 4-5 mini cadbury eggs
Pipe a little more grass around some of the eggs.
Add about 4-6 flower candies.
Add signs to the top of each cupcake and serve!
