Recipe Tips
Add the unsweetened cocoa slowly. Add the cocoa powder, mixing in a little at a time, gently and preferably with a whisk. If you try to add it all at once and stir, you'll end up with cocoa all over the counter!
Choose the best Greek yogurt. Opt for non-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture and highest protein content.
Portion control. Divide the yogurt into small jars or containers for easy grab-and-go snacks or portioned desserts.
Layer it. For a more dessert-like presentation, layer the chocolate yogurt with berries and granola in a clear glass to create a parfait.
Experiment with flavors. Add a dash of vanilla extract, a pinch of cinnamon, or a splash of espresso to enhance the chocolate flavor.
Frozen option. Greek Yogurt about to expire? No problem! Turn this yogurt into a frozen treat by spreading it thinly on parchment paper and freezing it with your favorite toppings, such as nuts, dried fruit, or coconut flakes, or try my Rocky Road Frozen Yogurt Bark (it's ww friendly too!)
Storage:You can store this recipe in the fridge, in an airtight container, for up to 4 days. You can also freeze it and eat it as frozen yogurt. It works best if you freeze it in sheets (or squares) with toppings or fillings.
