This 3-Ingredient Orange Creamsicle Dip is a nostalgic, velvety treat that tastes exactly like the classic orange and vanilla ice cream bars. Made with just cream cheese, marshmallow creme, and orange concentrate, it’s the perfect 5-minute "Lazy Way" win for spring brunches, summer potlucks, or a quick afternoon snack!
Beat the room temperature cream cheese with the concentrated orange juice until combined.
8 oz cream cheese, 2 tablespoon concentrated frozen orange juice
Fold in the Marshmallow creme.
7 oz - jar of marshmallow creme
Garnish
Garnish with orange zest (optional) and serve with fruit.
Notes
Concentrated Orange Juice: Sadly, this has been discontinued.... but you can still find it in some stores. Fortunately, I still have some in my freezer (yay!) But if you don't, you can easily make your own with this recipe: How to make your own concentrated orange juice. It doesn't take very long, and you can make a smaller amount or keep it in the freezer for when you need it.Expert Recipe Tips:
The "No-Lump" Rule: Ensure your cream cheese is truly at room temperature before beating. If it’s even slightly cold, you’ll end up with tiny white lumps that are hard to whip out later.
Fold, Don't Beat: When you add the marshmallow creme, switch from the electric mixer to a spatula. Folding it in gently preserves the "fluff" and prevents the dip from becoming too runny.
The Chill Factor: While you can eat this immediately, letting it sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes allows the orange flavor to deepen and the texture to set into a velvety mousse.
DIY Concentrate: If you can't find frozen concentrate, don't use regular OJ straight from the carton—it will make the dip watery. Follow this recipe to reduce 1 cup of juice down to 2 tablespoons for that "spectacular" punch of flavor (see recipe instructions in Ingredient Notes and in recipe card notes)
Storage:
Fridge: Store in an airtight container for up to 4-5days. If any liquid separates, just give it a gentle stir before serving.
Freezer: I do not recommend freezing this dip. The marshmallow creme and cream cheese can change texture and become grainy or separated once thawed. However, if you have leftovers, you can freeze it in popsicle molds for a delicious frozen treat!
