Pina Colada's are the ultimate tropical drink! However, they are typically high calorie and loaded with sugar. But this Healthy Pina Colada is not…

It’s not only healthy, it’s also low calorie and Weight Watchers friendly at 6 WW points on the blue plan for 12 oz, where a regular Pina Colada would be 30 points for the same size drink. It's a satisfying and refreshing mocktail for kids and those that prefer it non alcoholic. But it's also totally spikeable if you desire; just be sure to add the 2 WW points per ounce!

And wow does it go down easy - you'll be begging for more! Low calorie Pina Coladas are not easy to come by. This one only has 112 calories per 12 oz drink and you'd never even know it's healthy for you or WW friendly.

🥘 Ingredients

Instead of using Pina Colada mix, this healthy Pina Colada mocktail uses canned crushed pineapple, coconut flavors and a little agave to get the fabulous tropical taste, without too much sweetness. It's like a pineapple coconut smoothie. I love these slushy little wonders and I could drink a gallon of them.  All you need for this recipe is:

  • canned crushed pineapple
  • light coconut milk
  • coconut extract
  • rum extract
  • agave
  • ice
  • a blender
  • toasted coconut (optional)
  • light whipped cream (optional)
Ingredients in a Healthy Pina colada

💭Top Tip

Unsweetened coconut makes a great garnish, especially if you toast it! Just be sure to add the extra point if you use it and are following the WW program!

🔪 Instructions

To toast coconut:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F/175 degrees C .
  • Spread coconut evenly on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake until lightly golden and fragrant, stirring frequently, about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Store leftovers in a ziplock freezer bag in the fridge for up to a week and in the freezer for up to 3 months.

👪 Serving size

This healthy pina colada recipe makes 3 drinks but you can adjust it to however many you need. Simply click on the blue servings number in the recipe card and the amounts will adjust accordingly.

🌡️Storing

You can make this Healthy Pina Colada Mocktail recipe ahead (up to 3 days) but you’ll want to store it in the freezer and take it out 20 minutes before serving. You can also store leftovers in the freezer for up to 3 days. I store it in  juice jug (affiliate link) in the freezer.

🥥Leftover Coconut Milk

You’re going to have some leftover coconut milk, so why not make these WW friendly Coconut Blue Raspberry Popsicles

So if you’re looking for a Pina Colada Mocktail (no alcohol) that’s low sugar, low calorie and WW friendly, then give this one a try!!

Oh yum! I love a good pina colada but haven't been able to justify the points to have one yet this summer. So happy to have found a WW friendly alternative!
