I have hand-picked these recipes from a huge number of submissions because they are easily transportable, and are mostly finger foods, dips, and foods that are most suitable for a Halloween potluck. I have everything from appetizers to Halloween desserts for your next party.

Although these recipes are especially popular during the Halloween season, they are also great any time of year for a horror movie marathon or themed party.

If you're looking for the PERFECT party drink to accompany your Halloween party food, try my Melting Witch Halloween Punch (non-alcoholic)!
This Halloween blood bag drink (non-alcoholic) is also a really fun Halloween potluck contribution! It's like giving everyone their very own juice box 🙂
Equipment
If you are transporting Halloween potluck foods to a party, you'll likely need a cake and cupcake carrier , a trifle bowl with a lid or a large multi-purpose container. If you are bringing pasta salad (or any salad) to a potluck, this bowl (with lid and built-in utensils) is ideal! (affiliate links)
Or if you are hosting a Halloween potluck party, you'll want to create a spooky ambiance with some spooky decorations, such as ,a table cloth and serving platters. And if you are making the Melting Witch Halloween punch (see photo below) you'll need a punch bowl.
If you need black food coloring, I recommend Americolor super black gel paste food color (affiliate link). It's more potent, so it creates a dark color a lot quicker and you'll use a lot less of it.
Top tip- transporting Halloween potluck foods
A great way to transport a potluck dish you don't want sliding, slipping, or tipping, is to place it in a large rectangular plastic container on non-slip rug pad underlay liner (affiliate link), then place bath towels around the dish (to further prevent slipping or tipping).
🌡️Storage
Check individual recipes for storage instructions. If refrigeration is required, store food in an airtight container in the fridge. If you are only storing the item for a short period of time (or for transport purposes) you can cover with some plastic wrap. I do recommend Glad Press n' Seal (affiliate link), however, because it is thicker and creates a stronger seal.
Whether you are gathering to watch Halloween movies, having a potluck dinner, or heading out to a work party, if you are looking for a sweet or salty treat, easy Halloween Potluck ideas, or a spooky treat, you'll love these recipes!
