Packing lunches day after day can get exhausting, which is why I'm always looking for quick and easy ideas my kids will actually eat. These Turkey Bacon Ranch Wraps have become a go-to in our house-they're ready in just 5 minutes, taste like a treat, and can be made with either deli turkey or leftover roast turkey. With crisp lettuce, sharp cheddar, smoky bacon, and creamy ranch all wrapped up in a soft tortilla, they're healthy, simple, satisfying, and perfect for school lunches, work lunches, or even a picnic on the go.
The best part? You can make them the night before or throw them together in the morning when time is tight. They're portable, customizable, and easy enough that older kids can even assemble their own. If you're tired of plain sandwiches, this wrap is the quick lunch upgrade you need. This bacon turkey ranch wrap is popular during back-to-school season, but great anytime you want an easy lunch.

🥘 Ingredient Notes
All you need for this recipe are these basic ingredients:

- Turkey. You can use leftover turkey or deli meat.
- Large tortillas. I use Roma tomato or sun-dried tomato.
- Bacon. I use precooked bacon (from Costco) because it's quick and less messy!
- Ranch dressing. Use your favorite kind - mine is Litehouse Homestyle Ranch Dressing!
- Cheddar cheese. I use low-fat sharp cheddar cheese.
*Please see recipe card for quantities
📖 Variations & Substitutions
- Cheese - you can use Swiss cheese instead of cheddar
- Lettuce: you can use leaf, romaine, or head lettuce, or use spinach instead (for an extra vitamin boost)!
- Tortillas: change up the wraps and use either a spinach, a sundried tomato, or a whole wheat tortilla.
🔪 Step-by-Step: How to Make Turkey Bacon Ranch Wraps

- Step 1: On a clean work surface, spread 1 ½ teaspoons of ranch dressing over the center of each wrap. *If you're not going to eat it right away, add the lettuce first, then the ranch dressing- this prevents it from getting soggy.

- Step 2: Add the lettuce, then shredded carrots, then cheese, dividing evenly by all 4 wraps.

- Step 3: Add the turkey, then the bacon, dividing between all 4 wraps.

- Step 4: Fold in the sides of each wrap, then fold the bottom up.

- Step 5: Continue rolling up, while folding in the sides until it's rolled right up and the seam is on the bottom. (See video below.) Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate if not serving immediately (you can slice it in half before you wrap it, if you prefer. *I filled this wrap quite full. If you use a little less filling, it will look longer and thinner.

Expert Recipe Tips
- Save time with pre-shredded veggies: Instead of shredding carrots yourself, buy a bag of pre-shredded carrots from the grocery store. They stay fresh for days and make morning lunch prep much faster.
- Use ready-to-eat bacon: Fully cooked bacon (like Hormel from Costco) is a real time-saver. You can keep it in the freezer and heat just what you need in seconds. It gives you all the flavor of crispy bacon without the mess or extra cooking time. For a lighter option, swap in turkey bacon-just be sure to cook it ahead of time.
- Don't overfill the wrap: Adding too much filling makes it harder to roll and more likely to fall apart. Keep layers balanced for the perfect bite every time.
- Layer smart for freshness: Place the lettuce down first so it acts as a barrier between the tortilla and wetter ingredients like ranch dressing. This keeps the wrap from getting soggy.
- Wrap tightly: Fold in the sides before rolling from the bottom up. The tighter the roll, the neater it will be to slice and pack.

❔ Recipe FAQs
They will stay fresh for up to 24 hours when wrapped tightly. Beyond that, the texture of the lettuce and tortilla may soften.
Spread the ingredients evenly, fold in the sides, then roll from the bottom up while keeping it tight. If you're new to rolling wraps, check out the video in the post for a visual guide. You can also heat the tortillas in the microwave for 10 seconds before rolling them. Warming them makes them more pliable and less likely to tear.
To prevent sogginess, layer the lettuce between the tortilla and wet ingredients (like ranch dressing or tomatoes). Wrapping them tightly and keeping them chilled also helps.
Yes! This is a great beginner recipe for older kids since there's no cooking involved (especially if you use pre-cooked bacon

Heidi
How is the bacon after being in the wrap a few hours before being eaten? Does it get soggy or weird? I want to make this for my husband's lunches.
Terri Gilson
Hi Heidi,
Sorry for the delayed reply! No, I have never found it to get soggy or weird. But I use the bacon you buy at Costco. It's pre-cooked so you just stick it in the microwave for a few minutes. It's faster AND it has a lot less grease to deal with. I pat it dry with paper towels, then put it in the wrap.
Enjoy!

Terri Gilson
Hi Laurie,
Yes, it's supposed to open up in another tab, as the format is different. Then you push print and it will print.I hope that makes sense!

Great idea for a lunch on the go. Guess what my wife is getting for lunch tomorrow?.
I always pre cook our bacon so it can be easily be used in wraps, sandwiches and even pastas. Nothing like prepping ahead!
Terri Gilson
Hi Markus: I agree - prepping ahead is the best :). I hope your wife likes them! So nice that she has you making her lunches - lucky!
Gabby
I'm not a cold sandwich person either, but these wraps might be just the thing for weekday lunches! I love the layering that you have done, beautiful photos!
Terri Gilson
Hi Gabby - thanks! Yes, the colourful wraps can always cheer up an otherwise boring sandwich!

You make me laugh Terri. A little bacon never killed anyone. 🙂 Well likely true. When I make turkey bacon I cook the whole package and the store it in the fridge.Never thought to use it in wraps. Another great idea.
Food Meanderings
haha ... yes, Sue we eat so much turkey bacon that we live for 'real' bacon around here! But the turkey bacon is also great in these wraps! Enjoy....
